Orbit needed a dashboard that made dense financial data feel navigable rather than overwhelming.
Financial dashboards tend to compress everything into cramped tables. Orbit's users needed clarity under pressure, not maximum density.
We prioritized hierarchy over density — fewer numbers on screen at once, clearer state changes, and a navy/emerald palette calibrated for long sessions.
Data visualization built around a small set of chart primitives, consistent motion for state transitions, and generous spacing between decision points.
